1985 Catalina Morgan 43, Cruisers, 1985 Catalina Morgan 43 43' Classic Bluewater Cruising Sailboat. Inboard 50HP Diesel Engine.

Step aboard a classic 1985 Catalina Morgan 43, a spacious cruising sailboat with the size, comfort, and character to serve as an excellent liveaboard, coastal cruiser, or restoration project. This Morgan 43 offers an impressive interior with plenty of room for extended time aboard, and the cabin remains in good overall condition.

The interior features a refrigerator and onboard air conditioning, adding comfort and convenience for longer stays and warm-weather cruising. The boat also benefits from a repainted bottom, providing a refreshed foundation for her next owner.

This vessel does need some work and is best suited for a buyer who understands the value and potential of a classic cruising sailboat. There are some leaks that need attention, including a lifeline post that needs to be reset. One hatch also needs to be reset or replaced. These items should be addressed before extensive cruising.

Power is provided by a 50 HP diesel inboard engine. The current owner is unsure whether the engine starts, so buyers should plan on a mechanical inspection and further evaluation of the diesel system before purchase.

With her classic Morgan design, generous 43-foot layout, comfortable interior, air conditioning, refrigerator, and already-repainted bottom, this Catalina Morgan 43 presents an opportunity to take on a substantial cruising sailboat and bring her back to her full potential.

A great candidate for a knowledgeable sailor, restoration-minded buyer, or anyone looking for a spacious classic cruiser with plenty of possibilities.
