Heather Steinberger

Heather Steinberger is an award-winning writer, editor, and documentary film producer with 30 years of experience in the marine industry. She has worked with media outlets and clients across the country, also traveling on assignment in the Caribbean islands, Mexico, Europe, and South Pacific. A Wisconsin native, she graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in journalism, and today she she lives in Beaufort, South Carolina, with her husband, photographer Richard Steinberger, and daughter, Johanna. Her happy place is aboard her SUP, paddling the Lowcountry’s wild tidal creeks and rivers.
