One of MasterCraft’s best all-around boats is back in its lineup. After an eight-year absence, the MasterCraft X23 is available again.
Redesigned to broaden its appeal, the X23 combines the agility of the X22 and the spaciousness of the X24. Ergonomics, technology, and materials are all improved, so the whole crew will be comfortable aboard this wake boat.
A reshaped hull, the SurfStar system, and 3,800 pounds of ballast deliver customizable wakes and waves. Surfers can expect long, clean pockets and a consistent push. Wakeboarders will enjoy strong wakes that promote balance. Rapid Surf presets make setup simple. Custom Surf controls let riders fine-tune every wave to their preference at all skill levels.
“Since the X23 was last in our lineup in 2018, demand for its return has grown immensely. We’re thrilled to give our customers that option once again,” said Greg Miller, MasterCraft’s vice president of global sales.
The helm of the MasterCraft X23 features dual panoramic digital displays, intuitive MasterCraft MyDrive controls, keyless ignition, and wireless charging. Maneuvering is simple thanks to optional stern thrusters and a four-camera system.
An Ilmor 6.2L GDI engine powers the X23, delivering smooth torque and reliable pull even when fully loaded. For maximum output, the available 6.2L Supercharged engine produces an industry-leading 630 horsepower and 665 pound-feet of torque.

A signature feature of the original MasterCraft X23 was the transom lounges. They are back. Oversized and with improved ergonomics. Storage beneath the lounges can accommodate up to four boards or other bulky gear.
MasterCraft laid out the cockpit to feel open and refined. Deep supportive seating, premium upholstery, and carefully considered proportions create an interior that is both luxurious and inviting. Storage and other amenities are integrated along with supportive seating. Passengers have access to wireless charging, cubbies, and cupholders. Speaker grilles blend into the architecture.
Passengers forward can enjoy the pickle-fork bow’s deep seating. Overhead, the Z9 tower comes in seven powder-coated color options and integrated board-rack compatibility.
A day on the water requires tunes, and the all-new SoundStage Audio system, developed in partnership with Meridian, delivers immersive sound with intelligent tuning throughout the cockpit. MasterCraft didn’t leave out the riders behind the boat. The optional MAAX transom audio system creates a dedicated sound environment that carries beyond the swim platform.
