Saxdor 460 GTC Debuts at Palm Beach International Boat Show
Saxdor Yachts presents the U.S. premiere of its new flagship, the Saxdor 460 GTC. Through Sunday, March 29, the Saxdor 460 GTC will be on display at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
The 460 GTC is the largest and most advanced model in the Saxdor range, which also includes the Saxdor 400 GTS. It reflects the brand’s commitment to combining performance with innovation, intelligent design, and technology, according to a press release. Saxdor designed the 460 GTC as the brand’s foray into the 45- to 50-foot category. The boat integrates generous living spaces and features typically found on larger yachts.
A refined closed-open wheelhouse concept represents the basis for this model. The fully enclosed helm and salon can open into one continuous main deck as glass panels slide away, the roof retracts, and fold-down terraces extend. Versatile social areas allow guests to transition between cruising, entertaining, and extended stays on the water.
Two cabins are standard in the lower deck, one for the owners and another for VIP guests. Buyers can opt for a third stateroom.
A New Parent Company
The Palm Beach show also marks Saxdor’s first U.S. boat show appearance as part of Malibu Boats Inc. The acquisition, according to the company, positions Saxdor for long-term success, particularly in North America. The development also underscores the growing interest in the adventure day boat segment, one of the fastest-expanding areas of the recreational boating market. Adventure day boats are designed as social spaces for enjoying time on the water rather than traveling to a destination.
