Strong’s Marine is celebrating 80 years as a family-owned marine business, marking a legacy that began in 1945. Over the decades, the company has grown into one of the Northeast’s leading marine dealerships while maintaining a commitment to customer service and boating excellence.
Stewart Strong founded the company as Strong & Holland Marina in Lindenhurst, New York. His son, Dave Strong, expanded the business when he established another location in Mattituck, New York, in 1965. Today, Jeff Strong and his son, Ryan Strong, represent the third and fourth generations leading the company.
“We are incredibly grateful to our customers, team, and community who have been with us throughout this journey,” said Jeff Strong, president of Strong’s Marine. “Celebrating 80 years of business is a true milestone. And it’s a testament to the trust and loyalty of those who share our love for life on the water.”
Strong’s Marine has multiple locations around Long Island. Those locations offer boat and yacht sales, certified service, dockage, boat clubs, and marina facilities. The dealership represents brands including Cobalt, Pursuit, Regal, Grady-White, Cobia, Cruisers Yachts, and Fairline Yachts.
“At Strong’s Marine, our mission has always been to provide customers with exceptional boating experiences,” said Ryan Strong, vice president. “As we celebrate 80 years, we are focused on honoring our heritage while embracing innovation and growth for the future.”
To mark the anniversary, Strong’s Marine will host special events and offer exclusive promotions throughout the year.
